One of the new features in MDT 8456 (Lite Touch) is the support for nested task sequences. That's very useful when you have multiple task sequences using a common block of actions, such us a BIOS configuration block, drivers configuration block, applications block etc..
First, create the smaller child task sequence holding the actions you want, in this example some standard applications.

Then, open you normal Windows 10 task sequence, click where you want to include the child task sequence, and then select Add / General / Run Task Sequence.

Finally, select the Standard Applications task sequence, and click OK.

Can you nest an upgrade task sequence into a standard task sequence?
I haven't tried, why do you want to do that?/ Johan
WOW, finally… I've been asking for this feature in 2006, 15 years ago. great that it finally made it !
Are you from… the future ?
