Setup Peer Cache in ConfigMgr Current Branch

In ConfigMgr Current Branch v1610 Microsoft added in a new feature called Peer Cache. It had previously had a few guest appearances in the Technical Preview branch, but now finally made it to the shinier branch, e.g. Current Branch. Anyway, this feature is designed to help reduce the network impact of delivering content to clients in distributed environments, and works with the package types that ConfigMgr supports (updates, legacy packages, applications, images etc.).

Installing SQL Server 2016 like a boss

Hydration Kit For Windows Server 2016 and ConfigMgr Current / Technical Preview Branch

This Kit builds a complete ConfigMgr v1606/1610 with Windows Server 2016 and SQL Server 2016 SP1 infrastructure, and some (optional) supporting servers. This kit is tested on both Hyper-V and VMware virtual platforms, but should really work on any virtualization platform that can boot from an ISO. Specify additional command-line options to Setup during a Windows 10 upgrade when using ConfigMgr

During the Microsoft Ignite 2016 OS Deployment pre-conference, I demonstrated the ConfigMgr inplace-upgrade task sequence, and if you want to specify additional command-line options you can use the “not-so-easy-to-find” OSDSetupAdditionalUpgradeOptions variable. For example for using the /InstallLangPacks or /ReflectDrivers switches.
